On our first tour of Italy twenty years ago, the tour concluded with a visit to a Roman villa and dancing with 200 other American tourists. On the first day of this off the beaten track holiday, we were treated to a personal tour of a parmesan cheese factory in the morning and an afternoon and evening visit to a mountain refuge above Bedonia where we had a wonderful family style banquet, danced and played Bocce with local, welcoming life loving italians.
We have forgotten the details of that trip 20 years ago, but the authentic small village experiences that you and your family shared with us will last a lifetime. Tante Belle Cose, Mille Grazie, Joe and Bev Ryan

We have been visitors to Italy many times, although not to the Parma region. Staying with this family was unique. The house itself, at least 100 years old, gave the feeling of stepping back in time. The town of Bedonia had several good restaurants, especially fine was the 87 year old woman across the street who cooked regional food to perfection such as the legurian style lasagna. Valerie and Manny make a good team, taking good care of guests, driving them to points of interest, and offering breakfast treats which one would not get at a hotel. We became atached to this family during our one week stay.

We LOVE Villa Tre Angeli! Valerie & Mannie are SUPERB hosts. We have enjoyed visits to Villa Tre Angeli several times and hope to return again. The tours are spectacular, informative, & interesting. The region is gorgeous. We travel a good bit, and Bedonia is a gem of a town, one of our favorites in the world. There are so many wonderful rich things to see and do right at your doorstep. (Of course, further away tour options are available too) Valerie and Mannie have a lovely B&B, will show you the “real” Italy & are worth the trip alone! Love them!!!!!

It provides a different focus on Italy and its amazing culture than staying in large cities It is truly Italy at its best! The hospitality, concern, and conversation around the kitchen table makes the Villa like home. You gain a real appreciation for the culture through the eyes of your hosts and in the tours that truely expose you to the culture not just great museums. The opportunities to visit numerous towns and small cities in the region, take a cooking lesson with a traditional authentic cook, and make the town of Bedonia your “home” during your stay, is special. Valerie and John Carlo have a knack for making each guest feel special and a part of their extended family. They have 3 wonderful children that greatly enhanced our experience. The accomidations are excelent and roomy. If you don’t go to the Villa Tre Angeli you have missed a special opportunity.
